I like your choice of colors and the design. I take the redish color of wood is inlaid ? Your photo came at the perfect time. I doing a make over on a wooden treadle stand. It's a light colored wood, all I have on hand is a dark walnut That is the size needed.

I am loosing sleep on the design and colors of a new face / front for it

Don't fret, just do it . The red cocobolo is inlaid and is 1/8" thick x 3/4 wide. I used one of my routers to mill out the slots. An alternative way is on a table saw with a dado blade setup .

You do beautiful work! I have the clear tables and one table that is white, which came with my current machine. I found that I don't like the clear ones, but will use the white one. Wish I had one like yours.
