Default Craig's List Find question.

Found tonight on CL. Will call tomorrow, but until then I'd like to do some research. The model number is not mentioned in the advertisement. Can someone identify it for me?

Looks like a Singer 331K4. Single needle for sewing "suits, shirts, skirts and other clothing".

Here is link for the service manual: http://www.cuttersexchange.com/IPsvcManuals/

It's a industrial machine.

Yes, it is an industrial machine, and if you have never used one, get ready for heavy, noisy running. It looks like this machine came from the mill, as is, and the big motor was put on it to make it usable on regular electric, not 220. If you ever worked in a mill, and speed is important to you, you'll have it in this one. Also be sure there are extra bobbins, needles, etc. because they are different from the ones sold at Jo Ann's.

Noise can be taken care of with a Servo motor. I love all of my industrial machines but wonder why the hand wheel is off. Everything else looks in great condition. Hope you get the answers you want!!

Good Luck,
Lisa

No I came to my senses. Too many machines and projects. I decided to take a sabbatical on looking at for sales and focus on the ones I have. Thanks for asking.
