Kenmore Rules what kind and size needle do these use. Sorry to butt in, I would like to know.

Pretty machine! I love those decals. I like the cabinet too.

It might sell for more in my area; I live in wine country and rich people like to come here, get tanked, and buy random antiques. LOL But first you'd have to find a shop to put it in and pay commission so in the end you'd probably put the same amount in your pocket.

I think if it were mine I'd want to keep it, particularly if there were any family history/stories tied to it. It looks so nice, you could just keep it as decoration, but personally I'd be trying to use it, at least every once in awhile. I love my modern, computerized machines but I also really love sewing on old machines too. Try it...you might get hooked.

Barny, here is a list from the manual for National rotary machines nearly identical to this one:

Most common names of needle is "Eldredge Rotary", DD or DD1221, and Boye 21. "No. 5" from chart represents size 16.
