Default Demascus Grand Rotary Cabinet - would love some info!

Hi, I recently inherited a Demascus Grand Rotary sewing machine, and I really don't know much about it. I also have the instruction manual and a case full of attachments, but I'm not sure the age of the machine. I don't really have a use for this item, so I am considering selling it. If anyone has knowledge on this machine, what kind of market there is for it, or even an idea of how much it's worth, I would greatly appreciate it! I'll attach some pictures below.

    Thank you!

This machine was made by National for Wards. If I was interested, I'd be willing to pay $150 max, as the machine is in quite nice shape. Maybe someone else would be willing to pay more . . . but I don't pay more unless it's something quite unique. Now, if this was the older style Damascus Grand, then I'd pay more. Not because it's worth more, but because that is one I'm looking for.

What a pretty machine. Since its in such nice condition, I agree 150.00 is a place to start.

I inherited one, also. Mine has beautiful cabinet. I have no idea of it's worth. It belonged to my hubby's grandmother and she was so special to me, that it is now part of my sewing studio.

If you lived anywhere near me, I would be knocking on your door. I would "sew" like a Damascus.

It has very nice decals and a lovely cabinet. It's not really "my" thing though. Price depends on condition--yours is good, and how much a buyer desires the machine you have. In most cases a vintage machine is worth more to the owner than anyone else. Have you tinkered with it? If you were to try a project on it, you might take a liking to it. If I were you I would play with it a little before deciding to let it go just in case.

She is a very sweet machine with a nice cabinet. I agree with Christy (Mrs SewNSew) - oil it and try it out to get to know how she sews and works - If you, ultimately, decide not to keep it you will know how to demonstrate her abilities and make a more effective sale to a buyer.

Around here treadles in this conditions can go from $60 to $175. Once in awhile they go for $275 and someone comes along (like me) that just has to have that higher priced one! I would pay $150 for it because I love it. You really should try it. Very likely you fall in love.

I have an Improved Eldredge Rotary that is similar:

    I like it but I prefer machines from the '50s - '70s.
