Here are the cam and accessory boxes for the dressmaker W-60. The sewing machine came with metal boxes rather than plastic.

I have tried to copy my manual but the pages have yellowed with age. I can't get a clear copy. How closely does your machine resemble mine? What specific information are you looking for?

I have a 1967 Dressmaker W-60 that looks like yours
I have my mother-in-law's Dressmaker Model W-60 Deluxe Cam Zig-Zag. It was shipped April 5, 1967 from City Sewing Machine Company, 818 Broadway, Marysville, Kansas 66508 Phone HI 3-3731 Owner Lee Dam. The letter said it should arrive in about 5 days.
She filled out the "SMART MONEY" PUZZLW Entry Form postcard postmarked February 2, 1967. She had to unscramble 15 Sewing related words. The letter said there were 2 1st prize winners - Mrs. Norman J. Miller, Route 2, Elberfeld, Indiana 47613 and Mrs. E. Jane Smith, 67 B Campstool Route, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. My mother-in-law was chosen as a 2nd prize of a $150.00 Discount Certificate. Regular Price $219.50 less Discount Check $150.00 Total Cost $69.50. I don't have the Discount Certificate but it noted an expiration date and if she was unable to use it she may assign it to a friend.
The letter states Dressmaker sewing machines are sold and serviced in all 50 states and have a 30 year guarantee bond. The bond also states the motor and electrical accessories are warranted free from defects in material and workmanship for 5 years. They also offered a Lay-Away Plan of $10.00 a month with no interest or carrying charges added.

Dating you Mothers Dressmaker
I just found your querry regarding your mother sewing machine. You mentioned that you had its Manual. Look for the copyright date of the manual and it will date your machine +- a year.
Its a beautiful machine, best, B

This is my Mothers Dressmaker model W-60 DE Luxe Zig Zag Precision Sewing Machine Made In Japan. I have a full set of cams, the accessory box and best of all a printed manual. The unique item on this machine is the blind stitch dial. I still don't know what year it was made. If anyone cam help with that, the serial number is JNZ 617410.

BusyBtoo Thank you for the suggestion. I checked the manual, there was no copyright info. ycart posted a-lot of good info about her mother-in-law's Dressmaker Model W-60 Deluxe Cam Zig-Zag. So I'm going with a manufacture date of 1967. I just took this machine out yesterday to oil it and take it through its paces with the different cams. What a coincidence you post about it on the same day. This was my first vintage machine, many have followed me home since. When people ask how many I have, my standard answer is "I don't know how many sewing machines I have".

Dressmaker
Hi! I just got my Grandma's Dressmaker Sewing machine which is exactly like yours..powder blue and all...not sure if it works yet or not as I am cleaning it up! She passed away 30 years ago and I am not sure how long she had it but it is still in very nice shape!
