That is a possibility - that last number doesn't look like his other 2s. Maybe the SMG couldn't write numbers. I'll pull the ad anyway. We don't want me kicked off QB for selling a machine.

I read the year as 1958 too.

That other machine is a Wheeler & Wilson 9.

Does it look all there? The guy says his mother doesn't remember where it came from and she never used it. Somebody needs to rescue this machine.

Hard to say Miriam. I see the head sitting on the treadle. The wood looks pretty decent but I don't see the bobbin cover plate and there's no way to tell if the bobbin case is there. There is a chance the parts are in one of the drawers. If I was close and had the $50 I would be sorely tempted at the very least.

Sews that 101 has been posted a while now. My first vintage machine was a 101. It belongs to my daughter now.

I'm sorely tempted but I don't have time or a place to put it.

Sorry Miriam - didn't know it was yours - just thought it was a really cute machine and a good ad

Thank you - it is ok I needed to pull that ad anyway - the QB doesn't want me selling anything on here - you didn't know.

I had the shimmy image myself, but you've taken it to another level of visualization! LOL!
