That site is certainly worth perusing... If I was on the east coast...

The Eastern provinces have some great stuff. I think the western provinces might be a bit young for the truly interesting machines. I was drooling and miserable at the same time when I was in Montreal in May. Found a gorgeous one a few blocks from my hotel but had no way to get it home or materials or knowledge of the city and shipping companies or, if I'm truthful - the time to get it packed up properly to get it back home.

Who do you suppose made this machine? Most of the Coronados I've seen have been Brother machines. This one has shades of the Elna genes in it... .

But if it says "Made in Italy," my guess is Vigorelli.

As far as the Top Hat cams are concerned, I saw a listing on e-bay, 50 of the cams for something like $65. Obviously, there were some duplicates, but that was a good price. If I'd had the extra $$$$$ I would have bought the whole thing, but I really don't have a use for that many!

You know, I wanted to collect all of those cams at one time and I do have 0 - 23 and 51 - 59 but then I realized I don't really use them... My 411G which is the only Slant-O-Matic I kept has all of them built in, I actually use my Pfaff for most mending and utility stitching and I don't do decorative stitching... still, like my Singer Sewing Reference Library, it's nice to have them in case I do decide to use them.
