Looks like an interesting machine to me and the price is certainly reasonable. Is anyone here getting it?

99k clone??? NOT!!! makes one wonder about where they are getting their information. Looks like one set of attachments wouldn't work on that machine.
The table would be kind of handy with slight modifications per ArchaicArcane's tutorial for Height Adjustable Desk.

Janey Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

Looks like they meant 15 clone.

well when people advertise 99's as Featherweights...... why cant that be a 99 clone ;-) oh and I have seen a number of 128's with featherweight in the ad as well. I would use a LOT of adjectives to describe my 128's but featherweight is NOT one of them, not ever, they are completely the opposite... whatever that is

I don't own a 128 but I own a few 99s. They're not featherweights. The very common cast iron versions like I own weigh in at around 25 lbs without a case or accessories. A featherweight comes in somewhere around 11 lbs. They did make a few aluminum 99s and there's an aluminum 99 clone too. I think those would be able to hold their own with a featherweight with only a couple pounds difference in weight.

I had a guy bring me a "featherweight" he'd purchased once. It turned out to be a 127. I couldn't figure out how he could have mistaken it for light as was implied by the FW title...

I have a Domestic that weighs around 11 lbs - it looks like it is new - still has shop tags anyway - the case weighs a ton though. I think it is a real nice machine.

Wow. Subtract that price from the price of a sewing machine that is overpriced because of sentiment, and divide by two, and then we will know the exact value of sentiment.

Here is happier news. Another strange shaped sewing desk from my local Craigslist. This is not furniture made just for sewing but it is shown with a machine and works well as a sewing center. Good for people a lot taller than me.

Hmmmm. I'm afraid that sewing desk is not really practical. The sewing machine takes up all the possible room -- there is no work space left for the fabric and the machine can't be moved because it does not fit under the shelf above.....
