Here's a pretty one. Gotta love the mother of pearl inlays. Is this a decent price?

This one takes a boat shuttle and is singer 12. You can get the parts for it but it will be pricy so get them down on the price.

As much as I would like to bring it home, there's no way I can do that at the moment. We need the money for other fun things like food and bills. It's a machine I don't see much and know next to nothing about. It's a pretty one though.

Thank you for the estimate Glenn. I'm completely ignorant of fair prices for the truly old machines.

Rodney, it is a good machine and I have one and it is great. You are right the shuttles can cost a bunch and the bobbins are not cheap either. It is about 1872 model. Basically the machine is not workable without the boat shuttle and the bobbin. So I f you really want it bargin with them. You will need at least a $100.00 to get it sewing. Let them know that this is not a working machine under the conditions. I do understand your finances I have the same problem Retired on a fixed income. I don't usually do this but I would not go more than 150 for the machine. I hope I have helped.
