From an Alphasew listing:
Beautiful repica of Singer 221 quilter's portable sewing and quilting machine

Authentic black case included

Comes with a fully equipped accessory box

Great for quilt piecing

Electric motor, cords and foot control

This replica 221 is now made in Asia and is not the same stitch quality as the original Singer 221 from 1932 to 1958.

There's a selling point right there. Twice as much as an original and not the same quality as an original. Pass.

I just found two of those white tables here:

and

I'm wondering if these two machines are the same, I doubt it since they are on opposite ends of Dayton.

That's one of the saddest things about these repurposed machines. What is done to them is almost never as nice as the original woodwork.
I try to tell myself the original was falling apart and couldn't be saved but I know it's not always the case.

Nope, they just "re-purpose" the cabinet into something equally as useless.

I'm still confused about this cabinet. . . Do you leave the sewing machine in the table part and then fold it up inside the cabinet????

I think it's like a Murphy bed.
