Thanks SteveH - great to know!
The light is great and it is adjustable too. I think one of the reasons this one's tabletop survived is because it has a leg that pulls out to support it - otherwise CRASH! I've seen some people mention having similar style cabinets without that support.

Also, in very teeny tiny print the motor is patented 1924 so I'm guessing that is about the right year especially because this one still says just "the Free'" on the neck rather than Free-Westinghouse.
