Thumbs up

I have 2 Spartans in my collection(18 machine so far)and really like them. Everyone praises the 221-1, but at about .5 amps to the Spartan 1.2 amp motor, I think it the better of the two as far as power is concerned. I also use the walking foot on my machines for most sewing.

18 and counting. holy smoke. now i could see where i am heading (ha ha ha). this is definitely an addicting hobby. but i do love it. restoring and seeing right before your eyes a non-working machine works, is such a nice feeling. i will check the machine this saturday and i guess for $30 it's all worth it. just for the motor alone. and did you mention 1.5 amp ? that's a real motor. thanks Rod.
