Deb, as far as I know, Singers made in (or near) 1951 had a special badge of the blue accent with the quote of "A Century of Sewing Service 1851-1951" imprinted on it...Centennial machines.

Gorgeous! I would love to have a century model. I have one from 1936 and one from 1948, but still looking for that elusive 1951!
