I took Nova Montgomery’s featherweight spa day in June at the Vt. Quilt Festival. It was very worthwhile . If you can get to one, I recommend it highly. One thing I will share is that she does not recommend fixing your pedal wires..... send them to her to repair or replace them . Please go to her web site.

I just ordered the new wiring for the foot pedal this morning and it should be here tomorrow. When it comes to electrical I am a bit leery. I know it could be fixed but not worth it to me when the new wiring was only $12.00 and sme change. I hope this is the only electrical problem with it. When I got to the underside everything looks intact but things look a bit rough most likely for an accumulation of dirt and grime. I cleaned everything up an oiled things yesterday. I will look at the harness again today and see how sound it looks going to the motor. Right now everything seems to be moving smoothly. Can't wait to get the new power cord now. One thing at a time.

Congratulations! I love my little FW - I had 3 at one time. Ended up giving one to my sister and one to a niece that sews costumes for her kids. My little FW is my traveling machine.
Years ago my grandmother told me she had one that she gave to my aunt because she felt everyone needs a machine to do repairs when needed. My aunt (she is 88) believes she gave the machine away because she needed to downsize and never used it. I just shook my head. So my guess is, if it was ever used, it was very little. So I hope someone has it and is enjoying it now.

Mine came from a family member estate $250. Celery green w/matching case. Light use, perfect condition and the original sales receipt in the gadget box. $100 plus tax. I passed on buying many because I figured this one was in the wings. I’d never seen it so I expected black, not what it is, but it purrs like a kitten and I love it just the same !

I have been tinkering and cleaning, oiling and lubing this baby. I believe the skipped stitching has worked its way just about out. Not to super fine tune the tension. I know it needs a bit more tweaking. All in all the machine is working well.
I have made a dozen blocks on it so far and will be making good use of it as time goes by.
