It's not our fault if people can't recognize the best sewing machines ever made... and be glad they don't want them. More for us!

There are plenty of us "weirdos" hanging out in the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop on this board:

Weird is all relative. After all what is normal?

It's a big club. ;)

I think it's weird that some people are obsessive about collecting butterflies and framing them under glass.

Collecting old sewing machines and bringing them back to life is harmless and fun and preserves some of the best of "American Made" so that future generations will understand a little bit about what that phrase means. :)

Has anyone ever watched the show American Pickers? I'm amazed at some of the old rusty stuff they find and consider to be a real treasure. We all have different interests. Remember that old saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Just because your interests are different than someone else doesn't make you a wierdo.

In reading this thread, I started counting how many machines I have. I came up with 8, including one from my grandmother. So, guess I belong in this group, lol.

I guess I am the weirdest one of them all!! All I ever use are treadle powered machines and I would never use anything else. And my collection is fixing to hit the triple digits.

I say keep on keeping on!!!
