Kenmore 120-49 ?
Can anybody tell me about this machine? I found one in a cabinet today for 55.00 is it worth that? I see on Ebay one for 125.00. Another one in a traveling case for 85.00. It is chain driven have never seen this before. All I can find out is that it was made in 1949 By New Process Gear a Division of Chrysler. No attachments except a reg foot and 1 bobbin.

Deb,
As you have found these machines were made by New Process gear Corp, a division of Chrysler. They have synthetic bushing that the shafts run through. Problems arise when the bushings swell in hot damp weather and cause the machines to seize. Neat machine to look at, but not really reliable. The feet are one of the top clamping style, but not the common ones so are hard to find.
