I know how you feel! When I received my '37 the seller told me the wrong letters. It made it even older than I thought. I was afraid to use it. One year later everything is great and I love my '37!

Getting your hands dirty cleaning and maintaining it yourself is the best thing you can do. You'll be far more familiar and comfortable with your machine because of it.
Congrats on your new feather weight!

Yaaay! How exciting! She's a beaut.

I have to admit it, I am starting to want one of these too. I've been resisting, but they are just SO darn cute!

Thank you sew much for your comments. Hubby and I have her all oiled, lubed and greased, new rubber feet on her and her foot pedal. I purchased a 1/4" foot and walking foot and felt spool pin cushions. She's purring like a kitten and has a perfect stitch. I couldn't be happier with my new toy. I named her Frantiska after my darling grandma from Czechoslovakia.
What is it about these machines, I would love to get another one now!! Next one up will be a 1953 I think! LOL

Congratulations of your new machine. I like the name you gave her after your grandmother. She really looks shiny.
