front slide was there. my DH was cleaning it up some. there is minor rust on both slides, the shuttle and i'm presuming inside as well. How do i best clean that up with out destroying the chrome? The hand wheel is almost totally rusted as the chrome had worn off from use. the front slide won't go in all the way and has signs of having been pryed off. DH thinks the slides are dirty so i'll try cleaning them out and try again. i also have 4 bobbins that have their own little storage place in the cabinet door. can anyone identify the attachment in the upper right hand corner? i figured out that one of the pieces pictured is the gauge for seam allowances along with its attachment screw
