Macybaby i have the same machine and cabinet It was my Mothers. Do you have the seat that comes with it. The top of the seat comes off and you can keep stuff in it.

I've got stools for most of my Singer cabinets - including those pictured. I've even got at least three of the inserts that went inside the stool. I have no idea if the insert came with the stool, or if that was something a person could by separately.

Macybaby: Yes, that's the one. I hated passing on the free one I saw in Yakima but being on Craig's List and on the curb it was too far to drive with a chance of coming back empty. Your second shelf looks great. It's an awesome display.
