You will love this machine. Bought mine in 1957. I used it all day every day for years as a dress maker. I'm still using it to quilt. So happy it found a good home.

This is the exact model of sewing machine my sister and I did our 4H sewing on. Mom still has it and I hope to get it someday (if I can find room to keep it). This machine is a work horse.

The copyright date in the manual says 1958! :-D

You can buy the bobbin winder rubber tire at many different places. I buy mine through Sew-Classic for under a $1.

Have you cleaned and lubed her up? Did you get a manual with her, too? I see you got a straight stitch throat plate, too! That goes a long way toward making piecing even more accurate. Enjoy her for a long, long time.
Awe I'm so sorry you missed it!!
I spent a whole day cleaning, oiling, & playing with it.I really love it!!!!

That is the model I learned to sew on. I love them. They are work horses. One of the best machines ever made in my opinion. You scored big. Have fun with it.

Great buy! My bobbin winder tire looked like yours - I was winding bobbins on my FW until this past weekend when I finally replaced it. Great machine - I love it!

You can get a new bobbin winder tire for your machine. Most sewing machine shops have them. Nice machine!!
