No matter how cold, hot, wet, dry, etc.
if you need to sew, just do it.

Kudos to you, doin what you need to do
When we were children in western Kansas, one of us five girls would take Mom's treadle machine outside under the shade tree in summer to sew. After we got REA and
she had it electrified, we had a loooong ext cord coming out of tHe bedroom window.. This, before modern a/c. It was pretty neat.

Sewing under a big shade tree sounds like fun. I'd rather use the treadle than run a long cord, but fun none the less.

That sounds like fun. The only proviso is that you and Elaine have to learn to treadle. I ain't doin it alone.
