Okay I'm happy for you but I have to admit something--what is a featherweight? I know what a brother is and a singer and a few other brand names for sewing machines. Hope you can post a picture soon.

Featherweight is a small Singer. They came out around 1935 to the late 60's for "the housewife to have a machine that is easy to care for". They sew a beautiful straight stitch and are so pretty! They are also easy to fix, lightweight, which makes them a great machine to take to a class.
You could do a search and type in Featherweight. Lots of pics, including mine that I posted last week.

Thanks Patti! You guys are really the best! I really don't have friends who sew so they sure wouldn't understand!
