I would probably pay close to that for a Rocketeer in a nice cabinet as long is it was in excellent condition...and the sewing case is intriguing too!

The 500s are dependable machines. I inherited my grandmother's and have now passed it on to my daughter. The cams are a pain but one of the best zig zag stitches.

I like the 503s, too. They do use disks but you can adjust the stitch width and I think they make a very nice stitch.

After seeing what those sell for in other areas I think I need to move...
