I am so glad to hear that others have this 'obsession' too. I have about 10 or 11 now. I am going to find a home for some of them in September. I need to destash my fabric, clean up my sewing supplies and sell some of these machines. I bought them for my grandchildren but so far, only the boys wanted to sew, or at least, they used to. I love the old Singer's, they are so beautiful and sew so good. Oh well....

I have a "don't ask; don't tell" policy on the number of machines I have but it is more than 20. I do need to downsize and know this byut need time to clean up and work on some so that they can be rehomed.

Until we began refurbishing machines- I would have been able to count mine on one finger- now..well...I have to say I am not sure... it changes daily and I continue to find surprises in cases and boxes yet to open. It's like presents every time I turn around- some I love and others are not my cup of tea. I have learned to let many go as I realize they can't all stay.

"Need" has nothing to do with it LOL
Beautiful machines!

Yes, you do have some nice machines. I inherited my first sewing machine from my grandmother that is a Universal in a cabinet. It didn't do the decorative stitches I wanted, so my husband surprised me for Christmas last year with a Brother SQ9000 that I love. Was having an issue with it, so I go and buy a Janome 8050, and have recently repaired the Brother. Out of the three I have to say the Brother is my favorite.

I sure hope you all have these beautiful machines insured as antiques so if something happens you have them covered!
