Kind of a twisted view of the world...

Or the picture was reversed/mirrored. Not only is the machine backward but so is the cabinet - it looks for all the world like a reversed image. Here it is mirrored again:

Ahh, it is a mirrored image! When I looked at the original picture, "Singer" on the irons is spelled backwards

This machine may be worth that price. It has an unique feature...a button maker. I never knew that could be done with a sewing machine. I wonder how you do it.

yup - ornately decorated with cords - doesn't it kill you that they want top dollar but don't bother to take a good picture?

I really like the decals on this one and I'll bet they would clean up nicely!

If you put it into an image editor, and flip the image, it's perfect. The Bobbin winder, tensioner, badge and "shovel" shouldn't be visible if the machine was just in backwards,...

Maybe they just didn't want to answer an questions of "My right or your right?" and Pre-flipped it.
There was actual effort used to mess this up.
