The motor still works and is functional, you just can't attach one piece of fabric to another via thread with this machine in it's current condition. The spool holder is snapped off, and the machine was further "messed up" when I tried to take it apart myself. Should be repairable by a professional, or someone who knows what the eff they are doing.
