Yes, I got some thread caught up in the bobbin area somehow and it seized up so my little repairman fixed that and retimed it to use regular needles. He told me he could and I said "go for it". Glad I did. |

Am going to buy the FW book to see if I can't get it working nicely. I travel for my job so am hoping that Betsy will be my travel companion. |

It is light and travels well but I am not impressed. I have yet to see what people see in them. Glenn

Feather Weights aren't speed demons... at full throttle they aren't very fast.... They are perfect for beginner/young sewers.

If I had to make a choice at this time I would not really want one. I do like the idea that it is light and can take it in the travel trailer when camping. I will give it a chance and try to use it often. Maybe I will learn to use it properly. Glenn
I am happy for those who love their featherweights. I'd rather find a 99 or a 301 for a lightweight portable, myself. |

Tomilu... this is a new one to me. There is one here in my area up for sale... I bypassed it. Hum.... do you know any pros/cons of it versus say... a 301 or a 15-91 or a 201 as far as piecing and FMQ goes? Should I go back and look at it? Thanks! Sorry, I really don't. I'd make sure it isn't too fast. I recently sold an old Singer industrial because it was just too fast for FMQ. |
