That's another NICE clean up. Again, Glenn did an excellent job with the box. Your work with restoring the machine is beautiful too!

Your machine is gorgeous!

Every time I see one of those machines that are in terrible shape and then are cleaned up, I call my hubby in to look at them on my computer. I'm just hoping that he'll decide that he/we could do something like that to some old machines. I thin it'd be a good hobby for him to try doing, if he would. And if he got a machine cheaply and it didn't come out like he liked, at least he tried and isn't out a lot of money. He's never been a tinker on things, but I think that now that we are retired, he could really get in to something like this. What do you think? In the mean time, I'll keep showing him all of your success stories.

Teaxas Jan, you are the queen of reclaiming sad machines. I wish I could ship my rustbucket to you.

Glenn, that is a lovely machine.

I need to stay off here and off Craigslist. I sent an email today about a White Rotary treadle. I haven't found a home for the Ruby yet and here I am looking at another machine.

I hope you can find someone who would like to take Ruby off your hands. I just wished I lived closer to you and could sneak her into my home. My hubby said no more machines after I get my 1945 FW from JaneK unless someone was going to pay me to take them!! At least that's what the story is here for now.
