Phooey. Thought there was a sub thread for just vintage photos, but can't seem to locate it any more. At guild show and tell a few months back, I showed some photos of my new vintage acquisitions. I was asked to display the machines at the quilt show, which was this weekend. Unfortunately, I had also volunteered to fill a booth at a local county fair, not realizing that the two overlapped. So I set up at both. Here are photos from the show.

Virginia welcomed everyone at the entrance table.

About the Singer 185K Hand Crank machine, I’ll see if I can answer two questions with one post here...

Yes! We used it for the short time that we had it. We had it for about 6 months before we took it to a Treadle-On TOGA in Texas and it went home with another lady to be her hand crank machine. Here’s a photo of my wife using it to piece quilt blocks in our booth at the local County Fair. I hadn’t gotten the crank re-painted yet.

All I did was make a notch in the original solid hand wheel for the crank “finger”.

Glenn, that is a lovely machine.

I need to stay off here and off Craigslist. I sent an email today about a White Rotary treadle. I haven't found a home for the Ruby yet and here I am looking at another machine.

Thank you Irish Rose. I wish I was nearer to be able to get it. I'm out of room too, but keep seeing ones I "have" to get.

If the 66 is a regular short shank check with Jenny at Sew Classic - I've been wishing over on her site lately too.

You don't see triple posts very often. You are one talented poster! Anywho...I have heard of Sew Classic before, but I haven't been able to check out her site. Could you post the link? Also, I don't know if my 66 is a short shank or not. Does it say in the owner's manual?
