chris-quilts, Your turquoise machine looks like a clone of a White, not a Singer. Even that particular bright shade. I have a Universal that is similar, though it has white trim and is a ZZ machine. Can't see how it sews - the wiring is beyond shot.

There is a tutorial for the fabric bowls on here - at least there was before the new format.

I figured the competition for that one would be pretty stiff at her asking price. :) I told her if there was nothing majorly wrong when I got there, I'd take it. I'm hoping she isn't fishing for "bids" and sells it before I can make it out there and that it's not horribly messed up in some way. If nothing else, I get a nice road trip and visit with family.

I'll back off then. I told her yesterday morning I wanted it, but would have to get to Ft Worth to pick it up. I don't really need it (even thou it is on my bucket list). I'd be sure she still had it before I drove very far.

I knew there'd probably be someone else here who was interested too. Definitely am going to check back to verify it's still available before leaving. How annoying if we both loose out!

I must have missed that tute. Great idea, think I'll make a few for my DH, it will save hot fingers when he nukes stuff.

Miriam, thanks for taking the time to look those up again. I was perusing some last night. I wish they had one on there for just a featherweight, but I'm assuming the steps are similar.

I haven't but what a beauty!!! Are you going to get it? If I were close enough, I'd be tempted and the price is right as far as I'm concerned.
