Yes, bad thread is possible. I have had that problem in the past. Try a different thread and see what happens. Whe my machine did the "thick thread" thing I changed to a different spool of thread and no more problems. I then only used that spoll for bobbin thread.

To me, it would not be out of respect for the Nazis that I'd want to own the machine, but for the historical value of it.

One of my off topic posts again.

Did you know that marbles and yellow rubber duckies are still made in America.
While looking for Christmas gift ideas today, I discovered this. Maybe I can make quilted washcloths to go with the duckies and a quilted bag to hold the marbles.

Ok, back to my present quilt project, a quilt as your go.
