Monica, I read somewhere they are made by White. I bought a treadle pedal and wheel from a Queen cabinet to replace missing irons on a White cabinet my sister is giving me. Haven't gotten that done yet....but soon! LOL

Thanks Nancy. What could I use for the wick now that I pulled all of it out? Bobbie

Janice, Please post when you get that combination all setup! I love seeing how folks take parts from other treadles to make a whole new treadle.

I just rolled up a scrap of felt and stuck in several of mine. Clean the hole out really well and you will see a TINY hole drilled through to where the shuttle swings, all you need is something to keep the oil there, but not just pouring through that hole. I made my felt a little "tall" so that when i put the cover plate on it squeezes it just a little to kinda force a little oil out into the shuttle "raceway" just a little amount is all that is needed too much and it soaks your thread and can lead to problems.

Bobbie, You can use one of those felt spool pin holders. Just cut it in half or a section large enough into a V to use.

Thanks! That's it. I didn't feel like going on a hunt for the info. :) And I knew you would know.
