Oh, great...I won't be getting a book of instructions with the 306 I'll be getting. This lady is cleaning out her house little by little as she's disabled and she "might" run across it. Can I get one online somewhere? Complex might just mean impossible for me without a reference book.

Dang...I don't have the model number...she couldn't find it...so I won't know that until I get the machine from her. Thanks for your help, tho. I'll keep this page number so I can refer back after the machine comes home.

Say one wanted to thin one's herd for whatever reason. How does one go about figuring out which machine one wants to keep and which ones to move out? If I go by the ones I use, I can thin to about 7 BUT is there another method of thinning?

If it is a 306 put that in the box. You don't need the serial number. Is it a 306 that you are getting?

I just started restoring one of my treadle cabinets and i scrubbed the irons to clean them with dawn and water then took steel wool to them. I used rustoleum appliance paint to redo the irons and it is turning out wonderfully.
