I wish I would have had it a few years ago.

My wife saw the pic and said: "Saddle Making"?

Miriam, what would you have used it for a few years ago?

Steve said he is doing it with a hammered metal finish. I already want to go look at it again. The drive shaft is really cool.

My first thought was saddle making too. It has a harp big enough.

I really want to get my oldest and most abused FW painted a lovely deep purple.I need to find someone reliable to do the deed and not cost a fortune.
She sews a beautiful stitch, I'd guess she's sewn miles and miles of cloth.

there is a similar vintage singer industrial on our local CL right now- it has a treadle operated motor, and ginormous spools of thread. I find the set up fascinating. I am used to seeing industrial machines that are foot controlled like this, but the vintage machine is much cooler.
