TLCquiltnut. I was going to reply right away but I got busy wiping up the drool from looking at your machine. It is very beautiful. You are one lucky person. Kathie

I saw that listing...if I were closer to Sacto I would get it even if just for display in my sewing room.

I love it. I never see those out this way. I would be on my way to get it!!

Hmmmm......Interesting! Anyway, I came across this site and found a set-up to have 5 treadle treadle machines over 5 treadle bases under one custom made table! What a great space saver!! Check it out (scroll down the page a little bit):

This is the site that I found before finding my Two Spools. It is a very interesting machine. Makes beautiful straight stitches, but not as smooth as the Davis NVF. I'm happy that I own both machines since each is unique!

Cathy, that was a great article about the five treadle machines at one table. Very interesting info about the machines also. Thanx for sharing.

Does anyone know anything about a "New National" Hand Crank Machine? What should I look for to tell if it is complete?
What kind of price range do they tend to go for? Thanx in advance. luv2learn

It's a shame it has an ouchie......what do you do when the decal is messed up like this?[/quote]

Eeewww the dreaded pin rash from the former owner wrapping a rag around the machne and using it for a pin cushion. I haven't dealt with one this bad.
