Are you looking for particular year model?? Black...white or tan??
eBay sells them everyday...go on craigslist or shop at estates sale..
I've sold my white and a 1951 black ones already and left with 2 now to use.

White or "mint green" 221 model I would like to either see it in person or get one from a fellow quilter. There's one on craigslist list but it's black for 285. How much did you sell yours for? Do you know of anyone on here that sells them or is selling one?

Oh I didn't realized we aren't allowed to sell on QB ??!! I guess things changed since I last brought over a year ago some fabrics.
I sold mine 1951 black for (way too cheap) 150 and the white for same price
I really regretted selling those later

the advertizing for sale is on a separate forum - you can go there and post that you are looking for a FW machine and see if you get any responses.

Also, there's a yahoo group called "Sew It's For Sale" where items are posted for sale (FS) or from people looking for something (ISO).

I feel just the same way, I would want to check it out in person. There have been some post of photos showing how poorly a resale store packs the sewing machines up for shipping.
