Did the sizzling noise in the controller stop for good? Asking because I just bought 2 "new, old stock" knee controls & both of them did this. Hooked them up....& took them off after I heard that sizzle! If it could be moisture, I'll give them another try....

So far all the popping and sizzling has stopped completely. At first it had me running worried a capacitor was going to blow but on inspection I found they don't have capacitors and I haven't heard another sound from it.
