My Max is half husky and can dig like that. He gets carried away and all blissful when he starts digging.

Blissful, yep that's it. Also part of the reason she was given up. She knows she can be a dog in the orchard and dig away but we have asked her not to dig on the upper terraces. Well, she tries..LOL

Thank you for the compliments and I am sure Daph would love to provide the fence holes but only if they were over gophers. LOL I really hate when she gets one, she plays with them like a cat does a mouse. Poor things. Daddy encourages her, says that's my girl get those nasty gophers, so I can't confuse her by stopping it but I do try to distract her with a treat then go and grab the gopher and drop them over the fence. Shhhh Don't tell daddy.

Lol, Our Huskies do the same with our gophers. They have kept the population completely under control for 3 years now! When they try to come up in to the back yard the dogs go nuts and drive them back to the front yard.

We get the same thing, folks see this sweet goofball and are SURE she is a wolf...

Beautiful dogs. Glad to hear your reply Steve, I thought Daphne took after her Husky side more than the other two.LOL She also plays very rough, I am always bruised and not because she is mean at it she is just so intense in everything she does. Keep away is NOT fun with her because she will plow right through you and knock you down to get it, whatever it is. Are your huskies feet and toes really strong? She grabs with these feet and wraps her big old toes around and her nails are like, well nails. I dremel them once or twice a month to keep them at a manageable length. She flat refused the clippers. I am a licensed nail tech so don't worry I know how to dremel her without burning.

Max is the large white still one, Gem is the small brown moving one.
Max is half husky, half white shepherd. 110 pounds or so.

We raise Rat Terriers and had them dig under a cement pad a good 7-10 feet. Even had a female about to whelp get in hole and I had to lay under steps in sand with a hose and keep quirting a little bit and calling before she came out. I was covered in sand but she was able to have pups with me there. Had one hole I kept waiting for chinamen to come out of. But they do have such fun. Our Golden is not as bad a digging.
