Default Some people

I saw this on eBay and was astounded he was asking $1200. I sent him a message and asked if it was so valuable, "Seriously, you are asking $1200 and can't even wipe the dirt off?"

He wrote back "Seriously, how much is it worth?". Some people just do not get sarcasm!!

I was cleaning up a machine (portable Singer 128---crinkle finish) last night and found the bottom of the case full of petrafied mouse droppings-----It was dusty but sitting on their dining room table when I went to look at it.....I wonder what they would have thought about putting it on the table.....knowing------maybe they might have increased the price!

Just because something is old does NOT mean it's valuable...... people don't get that! It's a strange world we live in!

Some people evidently do have a clue--he has zero bids with only a day left on the auction. I cannot imagine that number changing, either!

He couldn't pay me to take it either. If old did mean valuable just imagine what our combined value would be, dollar wise. I really think we are priceless.

Some of those sellers in E-bay don't know much about antiques. They should do some research before making up a price just because the item is old.
