OMGosh! That is funny. The first pic looks like it has a spinal column at the back of the desk on underneath side going to floor. What is that?

I perused the paper today and found an auction for this Saturday and one a week after. Both have old treadles available.
May have to go just to see what they go for around here at an auction.
If anyone lives near Charlestown/Martinburg, VA area, there is a huge auction there with a very nicely kept treadle in cabinet. They did not show the actual machine, but the cabinet is a four drawer and looks great. I found it on some auction site I can't remember now. Sorry.

Charlee are you sure about that one? My FW's all take a skinner bobbin than a class 15? It is a special FW bobbin that the 301 also takes. I have never tried a class 15 bobbin in a FW?

Nancy
:) Nope! Not sure at all...someone told me that the FW took a class 15 tho...and I never verified it. I do know that they won't work in my 15-91 or vice versa... hmmmmm...that shoulda been my first clue?

Charlee,

What's your next sewing project? lol Now that you got them all cleaned up and looking pretty, those vintage ladies want to sew. I say you should do another shirt for you husband. ;)
I've been sewing here and there on a couple of quilt tops, and I do have the fabric for a shirt for the spousal unit...as soon as I get the Davis back together so it's not scattered in my kitchen and dining room I'll get back to sewing! :)
