Hi you guys, well I bought a 'Chandler Mini Skipper, Mfd for Chandler, Ayer, MA USA' at an estate sale today -- it says 'Japan' on the side of the machine and the only number I could find on it is - 10666. Does anyone know what I bought? It is somekind of blindstitch machine? It looks very weird.

Any help would be appreciated!

Nancy

DH brought home a treadle Singer model 12 Mother of Pearl, fiddle base, sewing machine. According to serial numbers she dates to 1873. She is in her original folding top treadle cabnet. Anyone know what size bobins or needles she takes. Really any info would be great.

Billy here are the pictures of my switch...
Looks like you can go to Lowes and pick up a switch for it and put it on the machine. It just unscrews from the bezel and slip the other one in place and your golden!!

Ok so... I unscrew it and pull the white switch out? is that how it works? Or do I unscrew the whole peice and remove it from the machine?

Well--it is an "antigue". You don't see many of those.
