Vintage Sewing Machine Shop.....Come on in and sit a spell
Miriam, I just popped in and learned about your DIL! Wow, I am so sorry, but she has age on her side! I will be praying she has a full recovery - it will just take time, patience, and lots of TLC from all her family and friends! From your later posts, it looks like she is already on the mend! Please keep us posted.

Hello
Can anyone tell me how long it takes a moderator to approve my previous postings and make them visible? I would really like to find help in getting my EMARNAY running so I can use him. Thanks

Welcome! They should have shown up as soon as you hit the "post" button. Not sure why you're having trouble.
You might want to start a new thread with your questions.

Thank You for your warm welcome Rodney,
Yes, that's what I thought too, so after the first time I posted in the beginning of the month and got that message I waited...and then I tried another topic thread and tried to post relevant pic's on there with the same response and again twice last night with pic's. Seems fine when there are no pic's.
I'll do some research on how to start a new thread as I'm really new to this and on a steep learning curve right now. Ahhhh the things I'll do for my Ehemm.....growing..... mechanical family.

Some forums moderate newcomers and don't allow uploads until some number of posts have cleared. Not sure about this one, I looked thru the rules and didn't find anything. They have made some recent tech changes around picture uploads, maybe it will settle out shortly, meantime welcome!!
Thank You Jim,
I spent some time this morning uploading some pictures in the album section and that worked so I am happy about that.
Now down to what brought me here. I have some vintage and older machines that need work, some more than others. The first one I want to address is my EMARNAY which is missing a crucial piece for the bobbin winder. Can anyone tell me what the manufacturing company might be, where to find the part that is missing and any other information about it? All I know is that it was handed down from a generational family of tailors back east who catered to the social elite.
You can find pics of it posted in my album and the number on the bottom needle plate is there as well.
Thanks in advance for the help everyone.

I got one picture of your Emarnay uploaded. Pretty machine.
It might help you get the info you need. How are you trying to post pictures? You can post directly from your computer by clicking the 3rd icon from the right above where you type. It's the square one with a tiny tree in it. After you click it just follow the prompts.
Hope this helps,
Rodney

Thanks Rodney,
He is pretty and I can't wait to get him going. The presser bar has a dual height too and I have a picoting foot that I can't wait to try out.
I did post that way before and each time the same moderator message came up. After I post this I will try again.
