beautiful! I just had one of these given to me. someone at my son's work wanted it gone. So my wonderful son thought of me. It is in surprisingly good shape, but the thread take up spring broke very easily so have ordered a new one. I have an old cabinet from another non-functioning machine that I will put it in. The motor just hums, and there is no rust on it. serial # is 1937. The wiring is in perfect condition.

I just finished the Parlor Cabinet, installing the Minnesota H back into it, hooking it up, and test sewing on it. It sews as good as it looks. I just need to practice using a treadle. I'm TERRIBLE!

She's a beauty, Grant. Treadleing.... keep practicing, you'll get it. It's like riding a bike. Once you get it, you have it for life. Since I learned to sew on a treadle more years ago than I want to remember, when I sit at a treadle, it just goes..... feels natural.

Here is Hubby's 201. He picked this one up with the case for $25. She sure cleaned up purdy!
Hubby had to rewire the machine, and put the newer style plug/footpedal combination on - since he's keeping it portable.
And the case, the smaller one is for a 301. It also came with a wooden base that needs to be glued back together.

Singer 28K Victorian Decal 1895 vintage. Hand crank, coffin top case
I'm using this attachment set (most came with machine). Box says "for VS1 and VS2" so it's not really for this machine, but it works. It's a bit different than the sets that would have come with US made machines (puzzle box set).

Singer 27 Tiffany Decal, 1907 vintage. Treadle cabinet came with a 1915 machine.
I'm using this attachement set. It is older than the machine, but I don't have any that are the vintage of the puzzle box sets (they are older). The copy shows a box for a Model 15, I've got one for the 27 so it's a bit different. The numbers on the parts are the same (1-19). This is a reprint of a manual dated 1906
This is the picture in the manual dated 1907 - with a back clamp set (for the Lotus) that is very similar.
