I had the featherweight for 10 years before I used it, I had no idea it was so fantastic until I discovered this website about a year ago. Since then, I've discovered that I LOVE the old heavy metal machines that I can actually work on myself. I also have a 1970 Bernina Record 730, just haven't taken a photo yet. All of these work wonderfully and I use them all and am currently trying to sell the 2 year old machine that I don't love
I only paid $25 for the International, I can't figure out why the clones have no real value, but I guess it's all in a name.

Charlee - Completely fabulous treadle. What is it like to use? I bet it's fun.
The thread take up lever looks a bit unusual. On my Vesta on page 4 the take up lever is a large open hook - you can just about see it in the first photo.

This is my pre-1900 Industrial machine. It was beyond saving the paint, so I got creative. We just LOVE the table. It has "wings" on left and back that extend the size for quilting. Still have to get the tensioner put back on so I can see if she will sew!!
Don't know why the pictures are so small. Uploaded to WalMart and ordered disc and prints. Deleted before I posted, so had to copy from their site. Will try again when the disc arrives. Thanks for looking.

Singer 15K Treadle, Serial #Y2915529, July 28, 1925, Clydebank, Scotland.
This is my first restoration project. I bought this 15K while living in France in the 80's and 90's, and used it at the time to set my modern machine on. I brought it back with me, and never thought of restoring, or using it, until I found you all.
