Hello!
I was given an adorable Miracle machine identical to yours, OurWorkbench. I'm trying to find more info about it. This was the only post I could find with the same machine. Would you be willing to share what you know about it? I'm struggling to figure out what I've got. I know it's cute but that's about it.

Let me know please and thank you!!

I'm not sure what you are wanting to know. It is a Japanese badged machine, probably by Sanshin in the mid to late 1950s (my guess). Mine is a model MOZ and has JA-16 & JC-2 on it. You can read some about JA & JC numbers at http://www.doubleveil.net/zssmp/resources.htm There were many very similar machines with different names/badges. Some similar to my Miracle can be found at

If you click on the title of the thread in the upper right of the single posts that I linked to here on QB you will find many other Japanese machines. There are many other threads here as well.

There is a similar one at https://www.tardigradeoutdoors.com/b...sewing-machine and a link for a manual. There is also a manual for a very similar machine at https://res.cloudinary.com/singer-se...hite-231-x.pdf that has levers instead of knobs to adjust the Zig Zag.

It is a left-homing machine that takes high shank feet. I'm not sure what cams would have come originally with the machine, but I did find some that work at a thrift store. I broke one and one was missing.

Should you be so inclined, We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button works to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

The quote one gives it as well. You also get it when you "go advanced."

I am looking at this slightly older post, and Janey it looks as though I have the same machine as you, although for the life of me I cannot get it to spin freely. It's on the bench with the top linkage completely separated from the bottom, the connecting bar/shaft is sitting to the right, and the top is still binding somewhere. But it sure looks neat!!

Sorry to hear that you can't get it moving. I agree - it sure looks neat!

I didn't have problems with the machine working. When I got the cams, I had to do some adjustments to get the follower to move correctly. I didn't make notes about it, though. I probably found something on the internet.
