The last 2 pictures appear to be a knee bar and it's controller. Like a foot pedal but for your knee

FR stands for Family Rotary. My understanding is this is the best machine they made

Yes!! Thank you so much! that helps a lot. It's interesting to read all about the White history. From the looks of the serial number it may in the 1923 year. Very cool

Alright, I've watched the Muv videos (love her, btw!) and now I need something to cut through the rust. What is everyone's go-to for that?
If I've read it right, it's machine oil or car wax for the body, right? I think there is only one small spot of silvered decals so I'll be careful around that.
Metal polish on the metal.
I think I'm most curious about the rusty spots. wd-40? does that help at all?
I'm shocked the bobbin is in there and still in decent condition!

My DH uses pencils ends and craft sticks with cloth wrapped on the ends to clean in small intricate areas.

I cleaned up a bunch of derelict machines a couple weeks ago. I had a Franklin Rotary which is about the same machine. I used rust cleaner on the chrome bits and followed Glenn's tutorial for fixing up the paint. Here is a pic of a kid happily sewing on it - I put a steering wheel spinner on it - the wires were shot - the table was in bad shape. DH cut the top out of the table and put it on a box, then painted it black.
