"done some checking and said they were now expensive" hate that line. Checked one place for an asking price for a polished, functioning example, Likely.. not the price for an unknown, unserviced machine with a poor cabinet.
So many million made.... you'll find one. Kelsie. In the meantime you can do a lot of learning.

Thanks for the encouragement Leon. I must admit I am feeling a bit discouraged. This is the third one that got away. You are so right about the learning. Now I know also that I should take a picture of the thread path with me if I know what the machine is.
