I think I also have the same machine and cabinet - same machine for sure. We got it home and it looked like it had rarely been used. It would not sew- DH took apart the bobbin area and found a rusted old pin wedged in there. Once removed, everything works perfect. I really love the 99's

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGH!!! I just got a text from the woman with the machine. Some guy came along and offered her $10 more for it, and she sold it out from under me without contacting me first or anything! After she PROMISED me she'd hold it until Thursday for me! Donna is NOT a happy freak right now!!! *grumble*

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that Donna. Take heart, though... another will come along, and maybe it will come with a drawer full of attachments and treasures, it's slide plate in place, and no broken knob on the front of the cabinet. Patience will be rewarded! And in the meantime, you can cuddle up with your Featherweight, right?
