Default Wooooo-hooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy y'all :c)

Guess what, guess what, guess what?!?!? I just called a lady about an ad on Craigslist for an antique Singer sewing machine in the cabinet for $25.00! Turns out it's a 99K!!!!! I'll be going to pick it up Thursday night after work! I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited!! This will be my first machine in a cabinet other than my treadle machine! She said there are no attachments or manual with it, but that it does work! So how expensive will it be for me to get attachments? I already have a Featherweight and was wondering if any of those attachments might fit? I can't believe I got so lucky!!! :c)

Donna,

That's a nice little machine.

You can get a new repro slide plate from Sew-Classic and I've been told originals can be had from eBay.
You can also get good quality bobbins from Sew-Classic as well.

And yes your attachments and accessories for the F/W will fit and work.
I hope it sews as good as it looks.

Congrats, Donna. It's a pretty machine and you can't go wrong with the price.

Way to go! It looks great and the cabinet is very sleek. I like the lines of it. Good luck with your search for attachments.

Donna,

Congrats on the 99K! I'm happy for you! I've been saying I'm not really a collector of Vintage Sewing Machines, but in reality, all I have are "Vintage"! LOL. I have an old Babylock serger, a white Featherweight, a 1963 Singer 328K, a couple of Singer 750 Golden Touch 'N Sew, a Singer 1425, and now I have a National Two Spools Treadle (my only treadle).

You'll love your vintage/antique machine!
