Default You got what?!?!? for your birthday!?!?

LOL! Tonight on the way to m BDay dinner, we're going to stop and pick up my birthday gift to myself. It's the second roughest machine I've ever picked up and I'm going to pay full asking price for it. Can anyone see why?

Anyone else have any weird birthday present stories?

It is in rough shape but a hand crank is nice. After you work your magic, she'll be a beauty!

oh my! I'd pay full asking price also - and I don't even know what the asking price was! That is the best Bday present!!!!

Congrats on the machine and the Bday!

Those wondering, the attachment box is the standard attachments -

I'd be so excited to find a 201K hand crank machine - even more than when I found the RAF decal 15 for $45

Lol! Cathy! I've never even seen a REAL RAF. I almost got got by one of the nostalgia machines because I derailed as soon as I saw the decal.

Asking is $50 and the handwheel and crank look original so are worth more than that. I can salvage a lot of parts if the machine is more rusted than it looks like but there's a good chance I can resurrect it.

Pretty sure that bent wood is well beyond my necromancer abilities though.

Got it! It's onboard. I'm almost embarrassed to have paid that for it. . Almost. The house was terrifying, something out of hoarders.

The hand crank. DH did the same some time ago. I know you can buy the Chinese hand cranks but I feel the difference and prefer the antique one. Enjoy!
